The Republic of Ireland will join England, Wales and Northern Ireland at Euro 2016 in France next year.

Ireland beat Bosnia this evening at Lansdowne Road Nua 2-0 (3-1 on aggregate) in a play-off to secure their place at the finals.

    Jaysus, poor Superman is looking a bit wrecked after that campaign. Hopefully he will get through the finals in one piece.

        You’d swear it used to be called ‘Connolly Dev Markivicz stadium’.

        It was called after a road ffs. The ‘history’ hasn’t gone anywhere and with the money from the naming rights, we don’t have to sit in seats that feel every second of those 120 years.

        BS’s continued nonsense about this , while admirable in its tenacity, is just a bit silly.

          I have to agree. Lansdowne, the bloke, is hardly an Irish hero. Rename the Road after someone worthwhile, then there might be a case for outrage.
