Just got it. It’s a very poor pun. The page is a bit bottom to elbow. The pun, as poor as it is, should have been the main deck with Newstalk host facing axe as the subdeck.

In theory you’re right. Obviously couldn’t bring themselves to splash the rubbish pun.

Can never see past the horror that is the Examiner myself.

FG/FF quite happy to have politically-appointed judges.

Not so happy when SF openly criticise their appointees, the secret courts system and shine light on even worse white collar criminals who are loyal to FF/FG.

Anyway, all this needs to be nipped in the bud or we could have a lot more than a general election coming up (i.e. a constitutional crisis).

Politicians need to keep their mouths shut about matters outside of their arm of government and ciunas about independent bodies (such as the DPP). It would be totally unacceptable for a senior army officer (for example) to comment on judicial or administrative functions. Why do muck-savage politicians think they’re special/exempt?

Eh Marian, Room at the Inn thread Marian.. Can you explain your wanky comment at all?
It must make sense to you surely, you wrote it

A report given to Alan Kelly stated that landlords would pull out of the rental sector if government interfered in rental market pricing, he ignores the report and now we have 1,000 rental properties leaving the market every week.
    Stupid is as stupid does

The Indo have 4 full-time journalists covering another SF attack piece, it’s like Willie Fraser is in the editor there, it’ll probably backfire, SF are the underdog, if they were treated just like any other political party, the dreaded proles wouldn’t be interested in voting for them, whoever the Indo string-pullers in Dublin and London are should have more sense…

Any time they’re treated like any other party and get called to task for associations to murder, robbery, covering up paedophilia and tax evasion, you know the stuff ANY other party would get slated for, they play victim.

TDs shouldn’t comment on criminal cases. But why is anyone surprised? The same government that were allowed break EU stability rules to reduce income tax for 2016 so they could try and stay in power.
Make no mistake, FG/FF/Lab are pooing themselves.

Mary Lou joins the rest of the Shinner scumbags in applauding a good Republican while denouncing tax evasion elsewhere in the Establishment.
I thought it was that heavy rack of hers dragging her down to their level but now I realise it’s Her Master’s Voice.
I wonder if she’ll be buying her paramilitary chums new shovels for Christmas.

All that is missing is for you to say she is fat… Jeez.
She condemns ALL tax evasion, to be fair – re-read her statement. However what I don’t agree with is her disassociation of that from being a good Republican. A good Republican ensures that the country that he/she loves so much gets the finance it needs to operate and this is done by paying his/her taxes. He didn’t do this and tried all sorts of pathetic tricks to get out of his civic obligations. So in my mind he is anything but a “good Republican”.

Only a few years ago Mary Lou was a feisty, busty refreshing change in Irish politics.Hardly a TV interview went by without her ample decolletage and winsome smile on prominent display.
Now,by obeying the Shinners rule of omerta over sexual abuse and criminality, she’s just become another whiney,hatchet-faced harridan.
She’s gone from hubba hubba to bag woman in less time it takes Gerry Adams to say he was never in the IRA.
