No they’re not allowed to cycle over it at all.

You’re required to dismount and walk on the footpath with the bike.

Those signs have no standing in law. They’re advisory only. Pity the bridge was originally designed by an idiot from the world where pedestrians and cyclists don’t exist.

RTE crew causing much more of an inconvenience blocking the path.

Lets drink to cycle-hate continuing strongly into 2016.

Can we have the AA position of subvention regarding money collected for road tax going into irish water. Fair question, in fairness.

    1. Otis Blue

The AA that’s owned by a private equity firm? That’d be an objective and independent view then.

‘Irish motorist Guardian’ seriously? The man is an idiot with no formal credentials to even come close to an authoritative or professional viewpoint on road safety or traffic management. Does he even hold an accreditation or degree in the area?

Sur when did that stop any of ’em
Look at yer man I M Hall ffs

These lads let on they’re knowable, experienced, skilled and qualified
But all they are are talkers

      lobbyists for self promotion
They’re no different to David Quinn and Iona

And the media give it up to them
Instead of actually examining their credibility or even their credentials

Conor Faughnan? I know he’s a committed motorist and all, but that’s a bit harsh surely, to call for his burning.

Serious question, why do they suggest cyclists should dismount?
I used to use it regularly.
It was the train tracks along the quays that were dangerous.
