    Ah, pusscat’s been picked up by his owner, who’s in Aachen, according to another link.

    Those microchip phone numbers are dodgy – there really should be one central number. I discovered when checking on my dog’s chip that the company my vet first registered the microchip with had closed and the company that took over its business hadn’t got my dog’s microchip registered.

    The Dept. of Agriculture issue EU Pet Passports for cats travelling abroad. Contact 01-6072167 with the microchip number and if a passport was issued for the pet, they may be able to contact the person the passport was issued to.
