Good luck to them all. Great to see women taking the lead in politics, the more votes for women of whatever political hue the better.

          I agree with Sam.
Idi Amin never tried to bring Ireland back to the 1950s / 1960s.

          Apologise immediately S.O.S.O.
You are slandering the man’s name.

And while I’m at it, Mary-Lou will eventually become our best ever Taoiseach so take her off your list too.

I had this debate with Moyes already memes
For me Mary Lou is Ireland’s Prince Charles
Always the bridesmaid never the bride
Maybe I should put Gerry Adams on the list, he’s such a bitch

            @ SOSO;
            Lookit, it’s like this…
            THIS election is a farce.
The short-lived outcome will cause a few contestants to re-evaluate themselves. This in return will strengthen the Left and expose the Right for the pseudo-sycophantic, self-serving career-liars that they are.

            Eventually things will get better.
Mary-Lou will be King, Pearse will be Prince and we’ll all live happily afterwards, if we don’t die first.

What’s even more tremendous is that, as the headline makes clear, all of these women are proud mothers, and have succeeded in the toughest game while still holding the fort at home. That’s some achievement and something that I hope was not forgotten when Ireland went to the polls today. Though they may be divided politically – in some cases, quite starkly – they each have a unique insight into and understanding of the challenges facing many modern Irish women (continues like this for 15 more paragraphs)

What other country would permit a giant fupping crucifix in a polling station?!?! Depressingly backward little kip sometimes.

      Look at the picture again.
Then blame the photographer who framed it.

Lucinda hasn’t got a clue about what happens around her.
      It’s not her fault.

    2. Cromuel

Or a giant image of a man being tortured to death in a school where vulnerable children see it every day.
