€15, or €18 for during the week. Seems a bit much. Just go to the national museum people, or any one of the other countless free museums around the country

      Bonkers indeed!
I see dublinbus are running their own bus tour now.
Has anyone been on the other one that runs from Merrion Sq?
Looks good. It’s dear too, but at least interactive and I might learn something.
I wouldn’t pay into the ambassador thingie

Proclamation readings in city centre count this year now reaching treble digits.

In London for Easter weekend thankfully.

Thanks – just to clarify I don’t mind them having the event/show but people should know there are other versions of the history exist and it’s contested.

I torn between going though, I’d love to be that bollocks pointing out inconsistencies : )

        Long live revisionism

It’s just Diarmaid Ferriter and Gerry Adams fighting over whether the Brits by blaming Sinn Fein for the rising created the party . . . .

The inside-out body parts exhibition is well worth a visit if it comes to the Ambassador again, Declan.

Who will visit and comemorate the graves of the now deceased veterans who
participated in the 1916 Up Rising, the proclamation proclaimed the ideal of
cherising all the children of the Nation….how about the resting places of the
Irish Volunteers to took part….how many lay in graves forgotten and unmarked.

This exhibition doesn’t seem to feature on TripAdvisor; wonder why not? :)

I don’t know if this was the case a few days ago, but the exhibition now includes a prominent shrine to the 1981 Hunger Strikers. While I was there, a school tour was underway and several children were presented with a seamless flow of history from Padraig Pearse and Michael Collins to Bobby Sands et al.
