What is it with your sensationalism around weather? It’s completely inaccurate and misleading. It’s going to be milder mid week and no snow.

The Morning Star has indirectly raised a very good point. What is so attractive about privatisation? The reason why a vulture fund would buy a company is to make a profit and while there may be some in raising prices, management restructuring appears to be the key. Maybe they could collectively buy CIÉ?
The core question is not private/public but how to get rid of the sort of clowns who killed the Irish Labour party. Everyone screams about cronyism at a high level but no one ever mentions the fact that outside the real medics, to get employed within the HSE you need to have a family connection in the right union.
As for Irish Water, my understanding is that employment contracts from 1st Jan 2015 forward did not include sick pay?
