Did they really need to book a function room in a hotel ? They could all fit in a good sized car… Although thinking about it, Joan has trouble with cars.

You think harassing democratically elected politicians is ok?
They were voted out, electorate have spoken.

      1. phil

yup I was one of those electorate people. Harassing politicians I dont bother with that, haranguing… now thats another story.

Just to reiterate what I believe has been pointed out before: If a politician turns their back on the people who put them where they are, the fact that they were democratically elected does not count for much.
Stuck in her car for an hour was an hour less spent taking money/ benefits from disabled children, terminally ill, and disabled people, single parents, as well as cutting fuel and rent allowance to name but a few of her deeds. Who knows what else she could have got up to if she had not been kidnapped for that hour?
        Civil disobedience is necessary sometimes.

You are right though, when you say the electorate have spoken. They did, and they told her & her traitor party to go and Sh1te.

I heard she prowls Dublin at night kicking homeless people and setting fire to bins.

Who knows what else she could get up to if she didn’t have to eat and sleep?

          1. Fergus the magic postman

I heard the reason she managed to get a seat this time around, along with Alan Kelly, is that some shallow people think absolutely everything a politician does is excusable as long as it doesn’t affect them.

          2. Kieran NYC

I heard the reason she managed to get in is that not everyone demonizes politicians as evil fire-breathing schemers hell-bent on causing misery and destruction in some delusional miserywank conspiracy theory.

          3. Fergus the magic postman

            You heard wrong.
I’m not talking rumours or conspiracy theories here. I’m talking about what actually she did.
I did hear some people refuse to hear and see things that are actually happening, because it doesn’t suit their own comfortably blissful ignorant shallow sad fake life.

Another one who uses the term conspiracy smugly and in the wrong sense.. some people seem to think they can dismiss whatever’s been debated about saying it’s a conspiracy.

KFC, as I mentioned earlier, a conspiracy is an agreement by two or more people to commit an illegal or subversive act. It doesn’t discredit anything saying it’s a conspiracy.

Anne, you’re lucky I didn’t copyright that KFC abbreviation.
I’ve been using it for about 6 months now.
            I have rights.

            It doesn’t matter anyway.
            I have a new girlfriend.

            Don’t click my name.

I must have three identities on this site.
            It appears so.
I thought it was only two.

At least all of them use the exact same name.
            I can sleep well.

            But THREE?
-I was sure it was only two. Are they breeding?

Don’t click my name and make a stupid joke. I’m in love. Respect that please.

Who has harassed them? They are pictured going into an Hotel in which they’ve presumably booked a room for their “think in” (wot a laff). where is the harassment?

    2. martco

imagine needing a big room somewhere to accommodate them all not purely down to their own numbers….moreso the PR consultants and spinners in attendance
pity they got the 7 seats but sure there’s always the next GE

    1. Fergus the magic postman

Yes. This is common knowledge. Even the dogs on the street know that everybody knows this.
Yet, & mark my words, he will be considered as a very strong contender by his party, when they ultimately decide to do to Joan what they did to their voters over the last 5 years, and stab her in the back.

      1. ahyeah

Hope to fupp that’s not the case. Not that I care anymore what Labour do or don’t do – but hate to see nasty, dangerous lady parts like that get what they want.

  2. Praetorian

    …Et tu,Alan…

as Joan is wheeled to the back door…tears in her eye, snots on her lip…

  3. rory

I don’t trust Brendan Howlin since he tried to amend/severely hamper the Freedom of Information Act back in 2013. He comes across as a bare faced bullpooper, in my eyes.

  4. Bacchus

I don’t think Kelly is well liked within Labour, or probably even his own house. A very nasty self serving piece of work. I don’t know where Labour will look for new leadership but Burton and Kelly and a huge part of their downfall… unlikeable and untrustworthy… and not even subtle about it.

  5. some old queen

Labour have become exactly what their founders were against. Any active supporter I have ever met were more concerned with ensuring their son or daughter was also employed in a good job than most anything else. Nice knowing you. Careful of door on way out.

  6. panga panga

Joan Phone doesn’t sleep….she crawls into her coffin and conspires with dark forces

  7. Truth in the News

The Labour Party could well emulate what the late Micheal O’Leary did years
    ago, join Fine Gael

  8. stephen

Why is this only happening 5 weeks after the election, have they just been sitting at home on their arses getting paid since.
