He never renounced his Irish citizenship, he is Irish born and under the law at the time that guarantees him the right to be called Irish.
Its irrelevant whether he supports the Muslim Brotherhood or wants Sharia Law in Ireland, neither of those would disqualify him from being Irish.
So, he hold Irish citizenship, but you are not happy with his believes cause they are not the same as yours.

How does one ‘renounce’ their citizenship? I imagine its a long drawn-out process (and one that is not afforded to minors).

I did a quick google to find any evidence of him renouncing his Irish citizenship, I got nothing, Daddy Wilson give us proof or I’m going to have to assume you’re just being racist. Or you’re trolling in a racist manner which pretty much still makes you a racist.

Good effort, but a 3 yr old appreciating the concept of waiting their entire life for a trial is beyond their capacity, and mine.
If its all they ever did, it would be entirely within their capacity.
The State are doing all they can; Egypt is a sovereign nation, we can’t just demand that they release him because he happens to be Irish.
Correct, and if he has an Egyptian passport which/if he used it when entering the country, Ireland has very little say on this – in fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was being held longer due to ‘foreign interference’ in the case. Egyptians are proud people.
