A Labourick A Day

In a race in a much reduced field
Old Brendan made all others yield
It ain’t Alan’s hour
To take hold of the power
He’d cherish and treasure and wield.

If Alan no pals Kelly leaves the Labour Party

    They’ll lose their speaking privileges

    Just saying

So, the Poisoned Dwarf triumphs. Are we supposed to be glad about this? The man is a boil on the arse of humanity. I still entertain hopes that a new Labour Party, true to socialist principles, might arise from the ashes – under this joker? not a chance.

Isn’t that the SocDems? Two thirds of it’s triumvirate were previously Labour members who left in protest.

Labour are the true socialist democrats, they believe in things like property and inheritance taxes, on affordable charges for public services, your problem seems to be you want them to be fantasist populists who never go into government

most progressive income tax regime in OECD; reduced unemployment from 15% to 8% in 5 years; sought to diversify the tax base from income tax and stamp duty to ensure the structural weaknesses that led us to seeking a bailout on creditors terms cannot repeat itself; but you simplify it all you want – Labour made the right decisions, look at Greece and Iceland

Too true, Walter, too true. I shall muster a hearty chuckle, followed by a rasping cough – and then might well piss myself :-D

Great to see some new blood heading up Labour. And a physically disabled person too. Fair play. Or should I say vertically challenged? I’m not sure what the correct term is these days. Little person? I think that’s right.

It was a choice between Tweedle-ineffectual and tweedle-demented. Your typical lose-lose situation.

I think I’ll sleep easy tonight
Labour have done what was right
And not let that gowl in
    Ahead of oul’ Howlin
‘Cos Cheezus that would’ve been shameful.

That word, if look at it, sounds, awfully like, labour, p rick.
    Now surely not.
Given the election be over and all.
All best of ehh, friends now.
It be clear, Alan and Brendan will get on like a house on fire.
    Feel the heat.
