He was giving it to Fidelma, if my memory serves me right. Pure filthy like. And there’s poor Dinny with his awful limp…

Its all much better now that we have women running the shop. We are finally rid of that corrupt patriarchy that infuses all Irish public life. This new, liberal, equal Ireland is much better for transparency and fairness. Thank you Noreen, Frances and Julie xxx

But nobody ever suggested it was much better.

Only that the idea, oft floated, that putting women in senior roles would suddenly solve all our problems.

It is not true, of course, women are subject to the same pressures, temptations & frailties of men, even if increasing diversity is still a positive for organisations.

And people were doing so well treating her as a professional individual to be judged on the merits of her performance rather than her gender. Top marks, Tony.

I love the way you cornered rats defend the status quo just to be seen as fair. Of course her gender is an issue. Its the only issue these days darling, or haven’t you noticed?

I love how you start calling people names when you get caught being a misogynistic reactionary.

          1. Tony

If I’m blaming women for being dodgy and you couch that as mysoginistic, my point is made. You are defending the cops..lol LMAO, rofl.

          2. Nigel

One women is dodgy therefore all women are dodgy. You either didn’t think that through or you’re as misogynistic as all get out. Laugh out loud rolling on the floor. Maybe you meant to say that women are as capable of being dodgy as men, derp derp though if the only time you’re moved to remark about about that sort of thing is when a prominent women screws up and that takes all women down a peg or two take that feminists it’s a but suss.

I don’t think either of you really loves those things. Something is going on here.

Yeah, all those thouuuuuusands of people who argued for a better representation of women in public life because their gentle, soft nature renders them immune from self-serving motivations and/or incompetence/corruption sure have ova on their faces now, wha.

It is excellent! Really heartening, the first thing that looks like an appropriate response from anyone who should be making it. You’ll also be glad to note Tony, that the head of the policing authority is female, so you’re correct too, it is putting things to right!

good job she’s just given her husband a mega promotion before a, she gets binned and b, the rules change…..

    1. Andyourpointiswhatexactly?

Aye. I hear that her promotion of her husband has caused a LOT of anger in the force.

Nice photo shoot, especially the in season trousers and lesbian haircut. But I expect the (real) opposition have a number of new rural allegations which they will launch as and when suits.

      1. some old queen

The policing authority findings are just that. And there is more to come I expect.

I wouldn’t classify her as a ‘woman’. The same way I wouldn’t classify Hillary Clinton as a ‘woman’. The term ‘woman’ used to at the very least mean having breasts and a womb. But not any more. So the term, nowadays, really means you act in a particular way. Like a woman. So, not like a man. So I dunno what these creatures are. Not women anyway.
