If that Times (Irish version) headline comes true in any meaningful way, I will be *astounded*.

      Hiya Kieran.
I know I used to slag you in the past, but those days are over now. I’ve turned over a new leaf.
I have a new respect for you.

I can only imagine the incredible frustration you must feel, living in the U.S. of A’s and worrying about the gravy train you missed before you took the boat and I’ll stop now.

IT: Sinn Féin urges Government to lift gay blood donor ban

This follows the move in the north to lift same. I wonder if the fact that both the minister for health and the minister for justice up there are both SF had something to do with it? I doubt if the ever homophobic DUP would have allowed it. Good news either way.

The Minister for Justice is a 29 year old independent.

It’ll be a cold day in hell before they let Sinn Féin get that job.

kieran, the word ‘Hell’ is a place-word, or whatever you call it, a ‘pronoum’ or something, a word-place. It isn’t even a high scoring word in Scrabble, only worth 7 points if you don’t use a bonus square and like hey…
        Where was I?
        Oh yes…

It should have a capital ‘H’, even though it doesn’t exist.

        I don’t make the rules.

      You said ‘gay blood’.
-There’s no such thing as gay blood. Blood has no gender.

      Wait a minute…
Which one of us is Gay again?
