TIME video examines the context and targets of the rising incidence of violence at Donald Trump rallies. To wit:

This year the spectacles around Donald Trump rallies have seen blood spilled and faces bashed; signs ripped and flags burned. In November, the country will settle its differences at the ballot box. But until then, the fight could continue to be an ugly one.

Apparently Trump will be a GR8 president because he ran businesses and it’s exactly the same if you want America to be great again.

Michael O’Leary for Taoiseach, sure being in Ireland is like being on a Ryanair flight, a cheap knock off of what a first world country is supposed to be like, who knows maybe he’ll do something about people eating crisps on public transport!

Can’t run a convention to save his life though. But magically it will all be different when he’s president.

leftists attack people they dont like, and dsirupts their rallies, shutting down speech and right to association.

    Trump gets blamed for “rhetoric”

Shocking and novel idea, dont turn up to events you dont like with the intention of violently disrupting them

“Don’t protest anything. Know your place” you mean? The anti-trump idiots who turn violent deserve a good slap themselves, but don’t pretend it’s all one-sided and people should mind their own business. Trump is vying for control of a nation. It’s citizens should feel obliged to speak out if they don’t agree.

Bob is right , except for the slaps. They’re are a lot of stupid and hysterical people involved in both attending Trump rallies and protesting them. It’s two sides of the same coin – they need to calm down, read more, speak calmly and be nice and polite.

Most people who oppose Trump are pretty reasonable though, and they’re right to do it. He’s a dishonest, thuggish, clown.

Looks like it’s the anti Trump people causing much of the trouble. And as for Trump vs Hillary? Not much of a choice really is it? Though at least Trump is talking about bringing back Glass-Steagall. That should actually help with the whole make America great thing. This just makes Trump that bit more confusing.

      Which is a good thing!

(Let’s agree to forget that there’s been intermittent civil war on this island for the last 100 years)

indeed, but in modern Ireland the craziness and brainless stuff in the film above is not not as apparent here.

Not as scary as sitting in a car park for avfew hours with police guarding you because a few heads are sitting on the ground and won’t move.

The president can’t do much. Look at Obama.

At least the news will be more fun if he wins.

I can’t vote for or against him so I might as well enjoy the nonsense of it.

Can’t even declare a good oil-related war without the consensus from Congress. I hope they’ve dropped that idiotic ‘Leader of the Western World’ adage. It’s a world I don’t want to belong to.

Well the only good thing to come out of this convention is that no one has been killed yet.

The bar has gotten that low.

    Glass-Steagall- Bill Clinton’s legacy :

‘The partial repeal of Glass-Steagall and the financial crisis: After decades of lobbying and proposed legislation, some of the Glass-Steagall provisions were repealed in 1999, when President Bill Clinton signed the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.’ Cue unfettered Financial Meltdown.

I hope America burns. Trump or Hillary Clinton same result.

What can ye say, he`s a golfer, a first class, grade A 1 certified golfer and he builds golf courses and owns them.
His foreign relations experience, apparently from his own mouth, invovles the fact that he is quote experienced, in that he organised a Miss Universe peagent in Russia.
He is either mad, bad or both or less lightly on something, like rareified air of some sort.
Some folk were joking, that if Russia, ever attacked the baltic states, Trumps first reaction, would be to consider, invading, say Finland, to ehh, show he is as strong as Putin.
As for the Nukes, take cover, take cover.
Though at least he says all this out loud to the cameras, where as rest are sly and say it in private.
Might say build a wall and get over it, if can.
The wall to a mental asylum.

And guns, don’t forget that they have guns.

Americans do take their flag, constitution (the bits they like) quite seriously

Hilary may get the presidency but with a very low turnout.

but tonight is the big night, the man himself will be doing all the talking.
Will he tone it down? Will he “act presidential”? Will he be as disorganized as the rest of it?
And why do I give a damn, I can’t vote for the idiot. He knows how to get publicity, that’s about it.
