Clinton Cash.

A new documentary based on Peter Schweizer’s highly controversial book, Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich.

So, it has a bit of a slant.

Himself (at 25 minutes)…

Much has alrerady been disputed by Digicel and The Clinton Foundation, in all fairness.

FIGHT!

Also alternatively and alternatively.

Thanks Deidre

One of the first things I saw after leaving the airport during a visit to the Caribbean about eight years ago was O’Brien’s gurning visage on a Digicel billboard. As far as I could tell, he was the second most popular figure on the island, ranking behind Prince Philip and ahead of the Queen.

Ah come on! Dennis just wants to help people! To be good! To feed the world. He doesn’t give a feck about profits.

Business submits application to provide service.
    Business is allocated contract.
    Business provides service.
    Business is paid.

    Consternation on the planet BS.

They’re arguing that he was allocated a contract because he paid the Clintons money.
If said claim is true, then criticism is justifiable.
If said claim is true that is. I would be wary of anything coming from Breitbart.com.

seen this story before, it’s not that new. digicel is also based out of tax-free Bermuda.

Digicel building was one of few purpose built earthquake proof buildings left standing in Haiti.
They pushed free credit onto phones so that people could contact each other, call emergency services etc.
Phone communication was vital in building open source maps to map the area for all the rescue workers that flooded in in the wake of the quake.

So, yes, he’s considered a saint there. But it is a business.

      +1

I believe he went above and beyond there.

Which he had the luxury of being able to do admittedly but still.

    Politics and money.

    It’s not rocket science.

Are people surprised or just jealous?

Full your gravy boat, life is short.

As difficult as it is to admit, Denis O’Brien is just a clever and successful businessman.
    -That’s it.

The anger you people waste on him should be directed at those who enable him.

      @ TheDudd

I’m as confounded as you Sir.
It’s quite a conundrum, and one I shall consider for about three seconds…
      …no, it’s gone.

Anyways, bottoms up. To the Queen. (Some Old)

(I’ve found recently that if a gentleman were to surreptitiously convey a packet of Silvermints in his inside pocket and judiciously eat one in a clandestine manner every 15 minutes or so, nobody will ever know you are p1553d at work.)

According to Redacted, “All of the different things that have happened to help Haiti get up off the floor have been led by the US.” Thousands died because US air traffic controllers assumed control of Toussaint L’Ouverture Airport. and prioritised the transportation of security troops over rescuers and supplies, resulting in an MSF aircraft carrying a field hospital being repeatedly turned away.

Denis O’Brien has been giving to charity consistently for at least thirty years mostly anonymously. Happy to criticize but a tiny bit of research would show this important fact. Inspire2by his mother apparently.
