Fair play indeed. A graffiti artist on the cover of Irish Arts Review…. if you’d asked me yesterday, I’d have guffawed at the suggestion of IAR publishing it….. Fair play :)

Pretty sure it’s owned by the same chap who started The Phoenix. Maybe that’s why they’ve gotten a touch (and I dislike this word in the context of human rights but…) political with this issue.

Actually when someone says this about something it automatically becomes Art. Sorry them’s the rules. You walked right into that one, in fairness.

Accusation of artistic plagiarism! Seals the deal! You’ve played Supercilious Arty Farty before, I see?

The Impressionists were told that their paintings were not ‘art’ by the establishment. And they were right I’m sure. Monet was just a foolish dauber or smeared paint.

So you don’t agree with the message of the piece and that makes it propaganda? Does that make the Che Guevara piece by Jim Fitzpatrick propaganda too? If there were people who disagreed with message of the painting, for example.

Mildred St Meadowlark…. you are just adding fuel to the fire for Zuppy International…. with tags like “admititabortionismurder” one knows you are not conversing with somebody of a this era; more likely from Victorian times.
