I can’t understand the fascination with Starbucks. Worst coffee I ever had by a country mile. just sayin

I didn’t until I went to an alien country. It’s the same everywhere you go which in many places is better than most.

I don’t know what places you have visited where you found worse coffee – it sounds like you are doing exactly what Starbucks want though – believe in the brand.

Apart from crap coffee, this is reminiscent of the Hamburger Index,an identical item sold in many different countries. Tells you about standard of living and elasticity… Blah blah.

I’m surprised how far Australia are down the list, I thought everything was very expensive there?

(though I suppose the AUD has fallen)

You’d be mad to spend these prices when in many locations the cost of a superior cup is a fraction. But I guess, some people want their bucket of coffee. Not for me.

Sweet f***, last time I was in Bucharest I got a whopper coffee for less than €2! Anyone care to explain what’s changed?
