Strange how he acts like Dublin Bus has nothing to do with him.
call in the army. let them drive the buses.
All army members have a bus drivers license? Good to know.
Garda: Are you the registered owner of this motor vehicle and have a valid licence?
Soldier: No. But I’m going to drive it anyway, you can’t stop me.
Garda: You and whose army?
Soldier: ?
If there’s one thing this country needs it’s more government interference in industrial disputes.
Córas Iompair Éireann does not like goverment interference. The ‘state within the state’ doesn’t even do FOI?
+1
It’s a terrific development in recent years that ministers don’t allow themselves to be dragged into industrial disputes and be held hostage by militant unions.
Can we please pay bus drivers more than nurses? Please??
Thanks.
How about both are treated fairly?
Can we pay nurses as much as solicitors?
Do you think solicitors are more important / work harder?
How do the bus drivers get to and from their picket lines?
I don’t know. How DO the bus drivers get to and from their picket lines?…
By being chickens, of course.
How do the (early morning) bus drivers get to work? (like, when they aren’t on strike?
Don’t ruin it! This punchline could be tweet worthy.
Ross used to take bus, does he walk now or use the bike, its about time he
tackled the issue, he’s banking on the hope that the bus cummuters will turn
on the drivers, in fact they will turn on him due to his inaction
Interesting that there is not the same hostility towards the Bus drivers as was with the Luas.
All management in dublin bus should be sacked for letting things get so bad that it has come to this. They obviously do not know how to manage properly
Both sides went to the Labour Court but the unions didn’t accept the result as they’re totally opposed to any kind of compromise.
Amazing insight from someone so far away.
