    I think Pot o’ Gold wanted financial reparations (the clue is in the name) rather than the right to rape Icelandic women.

      But shouldn’t the reparations go to the descendants of the (allegedly) raped? (Maybe they really fell for all those handsome, nice-smelling Vikings?)
      But wait… those descendants would also be descendants of the (alleged) rapists… wait…
      Or you could compensate modern Irish men for loss of property when their ancestors’ wimmen were taken away…?
