Farage – not happy that a BRITISH court is deciding the future of his country, isn’t that what he wanted!

The ECHR not being an EU body, I wonder what human rights would be defended there in this case?

Appealing to the ECJ – now that would be ironic.

I expect he would argue right to self determination or if it falls at the supreme court. If it goes the other way maybe the protections UK citizens will lose when they leave.

Farage is upset that the vague binary aspiration known as Brexit must be put a vote in the elected houses of parliament before article 50 can be triggered. No discussion, no plan, no schedule, just hold your nose and jump because otherwise that would be undemocratic he says. The most important decision Britain could make is being railroaded through by a bunch of anti European zealots but hopefully the Supreme Court will clip their wings.

I wonder, if article 50 is triggered is there any way of un-triggering it?

Parliamentary democracy in parliamentary democracy shocker. It took three minutes for them to reach the verdict so hardly a legal quagmire. They might appeal but imagine they would get the same answer.

Wealthy hedge fund managers wife ( who is not even British) challenges the will of the British people…….. cool.

:) ALL the protagonists here are wealthy…and none of them have anyone’s interests at heart except their own

Thwarting grassroots movements like UKIP bankrolled by ordinary working wealthy businessman Arron banks and lead by ordinary working man and former City investment banker Nigel Farage. It’s a disgrace!

‘City investment banker Nigel Farage’ your just making stuff up now…. When was Farage an investment banker?

Better still, he was a commodities broker. As I’ve said before in this esteemed organ, given a couple of hours I reckon I could train some averagely intelligent monkeys to do that job.

Long after the US election is over, Brexit will keep us entertained*.

*Presuming Trump doesn’t win and hoping there is no impact of Brexit on my life.

otherwise we’re looking at something like the scenes from V for Vendetta. the comic, not the film, for god’s sake.

Brexit is based on lies the more things happen to make it drag on and hopefully even fail the better.

  5. Truth in the News

In a country where there is no written constitution, and the citizen is referred to
as a “Subject”, who is soverign, is it the citizen/subject or parliament, the court
decision sides with parliament, but who elects it members, the citizens, so an
early general election will decide the issue….May would have a landslide majority.
