Jim Corr: voted Trump as the ‘lesser of two evils’

There once a pop star called Jim
Outspoken and just a bit dim
When the yanks made their choice
He added his voice
Against her and in favour of him.

So will the smaller countries bordering Russia which Russia wants back and Trumps has said he won’t stop. It may not be the lesser of two evils for them but their plight does effect the likes of Bodger so its all fine.

I hear ya, but I’d disagree in how that might play out…. if USA does isolate itself in its’ foreign policy matters, such as, pulling back from interests like NATO (Trump will weaken NATO according to many news reports) then Putin could become more emboldened… all very speculative I know…. but no less speculative than your own (good, I might add) reasoning….

Democrat hawks are never as hawkish as Republican hawks. Now it looks like a Republican hawk will be appointed Secretary Of State. Thank goodness they didn’t vote for the warmonger!

            Er… George W Bush?
If you mean the appointment, I heard Newt Gingrich being mooted? Granted it’s early yet, but if that’s the way they’re thinking…
I would definitely prefer that not happen.

Oh God, Apparently his top pick for Education is Ben Carson. Climate change denier, amongst other things. Turns out Pence is an ‘evolution is a theory’ guy. Thus is makig me ill.

Again it emphasises how poor a candidate Hillary was, when a bigoted racist is deemed to be a “lesser evil” than her, the DNC go it very wrong.

In fairness if it was me running for election I’d be mortified and have to reassess my choices if credulous idiots like Jim and Bodger thought I was the good option.

But she’s a well documented warmonger, hates other women and basically a nasty human being. So whats the big difference. He has a penis so he’s bad, by the way I think he’s an awful human being as well.

And he’s had Russia as an active participant in the election on his behalf – to recap they’ve invaded two sovereign countries, annexed parts of them and are currently raining hell down on civilians in support of a genocidal dictator in Syria.

He’s vowed to punish women who have an abortion, defund women’s healthcare agencies altogether, his Supreme Court could very well un-legalise thousands of marriages, he’s proposed an army of deportation police raiding homes and businesses up and down the country, he’s going to deprive 20 million people of health insurance.

It’s not JUST the fact that he’s a lying, woman-hating, muslim-hating, antisemitic, racist bully. But in fairness if you’re willing to overlook the first part…

Admittedly, Trump is the sort of anti-Semite who both (a) supports the establishment of Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel (b) has a Jewish son-in-law who appears to be awfully keen on the aul’ bollix if the pages of the New York Observer are anything to go by.

It’s a sad day when someone is held up to ridicule for having an view contrary to popular opinion. Have a think for yourselves
