Former Olympic Council of Ireland President Pat Hickey

This morning.

A spokesperson for the Olympic Council of Ireland has said it will not be paying the €410,000 bond which Pat Hickey is required to pay as a condition of having his passport returned and being allowed to leave Brazil on medical grounds.

The OCI says it is a personal matter for Mr Hickey….

Harsh.

I would say he has it stuffed away somewhere. The bbc spotlight on Hickey was very informative and concise. Listening to jonathan Irwin on Sean O’Rourke this morning made my blood boil.

I’m sure that fg minister that met the family will get the money for hickey, they need his “expertise” in organising the tickets for the rugby world cup bid.

Top notch entertainment for the peasant classes this morning with Lord Irwin on Sean O’Rourke calling for gun boats to be sent to liberate our “prince” Hickey from the hands of these disgraceful Brazilians.

Jonathan Irwin’s salary as CEO of the Jack and Jill foundation is €97,786. With wealthy pals like that Pat Hickey will be home in two shakes of a lambs tail

That foundation does stellar work – I don’t begrudge Irwin a salary that would barely cover the nut on a mortgage of 300-400K.

He’s faking illness like all mob bosses do when they get locked up. Nothing wrong with him, he’ll be skipping around a few days after he gets back home. Pity the Brazilians got so soft on the bol lix

He had no problem traversing the planet, first class, before his arrest. No mention of any illness or near death experience. Suddenly he’s on death’s door.
Thankfully that bond of €400000 will soften his cough.
