From top: Denis O’Brien leaving the High Court after giving evidence last week; an excerpt of Mr O’Brien’s witness statement given to the court

Mary Carolan, in The Irish Times, reports:

Businessman Denis O’Brien’s action over statements made by two TDs in the Dáil about his banking affairs has concluded at the High Court with judgment reserved.

Ms Justice Una Ní Raifeartaigh reserved judgment until the new year and said she would not finalise her decision until the High Court rules on the separate case of former Rehab chief executive Angela Kerins. That case raises some similar issues and judgment was reserved on it last October.

Sorry, but what’s his fat head got to do with this case.. (per the section of his witness statement above there).

If he doesn’t want any media attention, maybe he should stop suing people and threatening to sue people.

Is he saying he shouldn’t be talked about as there’s people threatening him?

    Such a pea-brain for a fat head..
He’s on the news at the moment, due to his own actions.

Now, now Anne, such luminaries as Alan Kelly, Angela Kerins, Adawn O’Queerdawn (amongst others) have received ‘death threats ‘ (according to themselves). We should take these matters VERY seriously.

Surely she was a “loony leftie”, Kieran – not your cup of tea at all – plus it was the UK, not here, and there were no prior threats. Spare us your faux crap

Jesus, that’s all he has to say..instead of the spiel about the ammo and his fat head.

You could be one of his advisors..you have that same lack of logic about you KFC.

Is all this for real, we have a Media Mogul who objects to the parliament in
the public interest telling us what he is up to, yet his media outlets are constantly
publishing every tittle tattle on everyones else’s personal and indeed business
affairs…and we also need to delve deeper into the famous USB storage stick.
