    The Daily Mail headlines show how poisonous the UK right-wing rags have become.

    Also Jeremy Corbyn couldn’t run a tap, let alone a country.

        I’m sure you are correct, except they’re not exactly popular, are they?
        These right-wing tabloid owners want the working-class to hate each other, and it works.
        In contrast, communists are pretty obscure, aren’t they? The “hard left” get a tiny number of voters, I really don’t see the equivalence.
        (For example, in Ireland 50% of the vote went to FFG yet they control the government and the opposition, meanwhile the “debate” about social issues is with the AAA/PBP.
        As a “moderate” I find this to be a gross distortion.)

        The left (or left-leaning) papers in the UK are the following:
        The Mirror, the Guardian, the Independent, the Morning Star (although this is almost never seen in real life!)

        None of these could be fairly described as poisonous.

            When I was a garsoon we had to wait for the traveling Memesmith to come past once a year in his memewagon and he’d add memes to all our pictures by hand with lead-based paint that gave everyone the squitters. Ah, but he was wise in the way of teh lulz.

    What’s so stark about Dublin extending? Is it not happy for the people in Cavan for example they can enjoy a far superior quality of life there and get straight into Dublin in just over an hour? Sounds great!
