I know it’s probably an amazing car and all but the Ford badge just takes away from its supercarness for me

That was the point of the original GT40: Ford had tried to buy Ferrari. When they didn’t succeed Henry Ford Is set out to beat them at their own game. Which they did, wiping the floor with Ferrari in Le Mans for many years after. Since then Ford have periodically made super cars with the blue oval badge, despite owning premium brands.

I worked for a company for many years on that GT program. We even got 1000bhp out of one of those monsters. They do get a bit light at the front when oyu are doing 135mph.

its funny how on special limited edition top end cars the likes of Ford always goes lazy inside at the cockpit and throws whatever oul switchgear (like lightswitches or electric window switches) they’ve got lying about from the current Mondeo etc. at it
    pity

Is it not all stripped out to save weight? Swanky switches and finishes are not needed on such racing cars
