    If criminal scum in this country can have infinite previous convictions, then why not the Gardai?
    Also, the absolute state of the institutions in this country run by women, post me 1 that isn’t in crisis right now.

      I agree, Ah. Meanwhile, the spectacle of Fianna Fail and Labour taking the moral high ground leaves me feeling very queasy indeed. The nerve of these scrotes.

        Politics is repetitive and very wearing. Leaves a person feeling somewhat grubby, and not in the fun way.

        I can’t trust anyone that media trained to within an inch of their life. She’s so Communication Clinicked every time she opens her mouth.

      It’ll take more than Noirin going, they need to clear out the top three or four ranks and fill them with either civilians or foreign cops.

        i suspect that’s the fear in Govt circles. Say they hire in some chap from The Met who lands over and on day 1 asks for briefing on how X, Y and Z are done.

        by around half twelve that day, he’ll probably be appalled, and ask that a significant percent of the upper echelons of the force are hoiked out, pronto.

        that’s a level of systemic shock that no government will want to be there for, because the ramifications on previous convictions etc will be huge.

      its clearly rotten from the bottom up as well as top down, replacing the commissioner will not improve things no more than expecting improvement in the HSE everytime we change Health Minister

      Dousing a fire won’t rebuild the house, but you really should do it as a first step.

      Hiring the arsonists accomplice as clerk of works probably not the best plan either.

    Ugh Jim O’Callaghan. Watched him on Vincent Browne last night defending the indefensible (NAMA secrecy and it’s massive losses to the state) and previously on the six one doing the same thing (regarding judges exemption to declare interests). FF always wheel him out because he will literally say whatever the current party policy is and keep a straight face.
