My own blossoms are starting to peep out. They aren’t looking quite as pretty as this though.

Have a few blossoms myself on my miniature patio apple tree.

Love this period which comes second only to that wonderful time when the daffodils arise to tell you that winter is over.

I do love me a good daffy, but the blossom wins for me, as a true marker that winter has buggered off to make way for the torrential rains of an Irish summer.

The torrential rains come to Africa at this time of year and are so welcomed after about four months of arid heat, drought, crop failure, dying grazing animals, famine. Be grateful for the temperate climate ;)

not long ago, you told us you were happiest having a pint in some pub in roundstone (or wherever)

and a little before that, you said you were happiest with a boy sitting on your knee

          and now this

Harry is a man with many layers and nuances to him. Let him have more than one thing to make him happy.

Is that too much to ask?

I’m happiest of all when I see you guys remembering me, and my many oniony layers.

Ye make the workday a lot easier

It’s a great year for these. Magnolias and apple blossoms are looking great too. Quite a tonic.
