So Simon Harris and Tony O’Brien are “monitoring” cyber security. In other words – what? Both are up sitting by their PC all night “monitoring”?
I hope they’re having fun because Hospital software here varies from hospital to hospital. Which could be a good thing.

It made me laugh, and that honour usually goes to the express, for obvious reasons.

Love their insistence on stating the temp in Fahrenheit! I have no idea what 80F means.

Interesting language on that Times of Ireland ting: Blairs “warns” their could be a united Ireland. Scary stuff.

In this country EVERY statement by a politician always constitutes “a warning”. The don’t state facts, they don’t inform us – no, they ‘warn’ us every day. Sloppy, cliche ridden journalism.

Brexit was literally the same as the nazis taking over democracy was hijacked away from the people there needs to be a re do over. The people of Ireland realized their mistake when they voted incorrectly in the Lisbon referendum the EU was able to step in and help us we need to find out who the bigots are who are sowing discord and saying that the EU is a bloated monolith & is profoundly undemocratic at it’s core, we vote for MEP’s and they represent us so how is it undemocratic? they may have to vote in blocks but those blocks have our best interests at heart, and the EU values and respects the Irish contribution to the EU. The EU may have some minor issues but as history has proved reform is always possible in such a large centralized bureaucracy.

    1. Sheik Yahbouti

“voted incorrectly in the Lisbon referendum”? There was nothing incorrect in that vote, as subsequent events have shown.

      1. jimmy russell

of course it was incorrect the majority was whipped up into a anti-eu frenzy by a few bigoted facists and the irish people voted no by mistake, thankfully the EU was able to do us a favor and give us a re do over so we could vote the right way, something like that needs to happen for the brexit before its too late ugh I literally cant even right now

            haha Sheik
did Jimmy almost catch u there :) :)

hey Eurovizion tonite for a bit of craic wha? getting sick of us being useless tho, best when u have something to shout at the telly for near the end, not even my 2nd team (Poland) up to much,
Plan: I reckon we should ask David Hasslehoff to put something together next year blow the whole thing open, do a song about reunification, crowdfund him in, what u reckon?

          2. Sheik Yahbouti

Sorry friend, Eurovision was never an interest of mine. In fact it’s great to see the discomfiture of the RTE types, who used to eye roll and moan about having to host the thing. They’d give anything now to get it!!

I don’t know which Sheiken Beauty is the real one, so I’m threading lightly, just in case. Because you never know, do you? What if oneof them turned out to be a girl? What if it was two girls??? blokes.

            What was the question again?

  4. Sheik Yahbouti

Ah sorry :-), just to clarify for you – there is Sheik Yahbouti (me), the one and only. There is also Sheikh Yahbooti, who is someone else. I used to argue about it, but we’ve called a truce.

    1. sǝɯǝɯʇɐpɐq

      Thanks for that.
The rest of us were on tenterhooks, afraid to ask…
We weren’t sure who we were asking, we never knew who might answer.

      Which one are you again?

        1. sǝɯǝɯʇɐpɐq

          I’m a Cocteau Twin, bitch.
That makes two of us, plus you…

(step back. I won’t warn you twice. That 80s / 90s crap… I know it better than you will ever do… Try me…)

  5. sǝɯǝɯʇɐpɐq

    1. sǝɯǝɯʇɐpɐq

      I have people to love.
I don’t have time to learn people who don’t know how to be brainy and and all that kinda stuff stuff stuff.
      I am a man, not a pseudonym.

      1. sǝɯǝɯʇɐpɐq

        …hang on a minute…
        I am a Pseudonym, not a man.

I would’ve admitted it earlier but I wasn’t sure I could spell it correctly, and thereby gain an upperhand…
Why is there no opposite to ‘upperhand’… or is there?
        -#Nobody will EVER know…

        Carry on….
