Apparently there was a proposal to turn Drumcondra into Dublin’s Red Light District. Possibly due to that one sex shop. Surely Capel Street would be more suitable

Good to see the community spirit on da Northside, like it was with “Pushers Out!” in the 90’s. Was in the area a few weeks back gettin the bus to Slane, noticed a scummy brothel across form the Maldron Hotel. Fair play to them.

Their massage is clear… down with this sort of thing.
It’s currently Moulin Rouge, was previous Caress of Heaven Massage Center, although I have no first hand knowledge seems pretty clear what it’s for.

Concerned Parents (translation: SInn Fein/IRA) against naughty hands.

    Best advertisement ever. I’m there.

I remember hearing that there were some Russian-mob-run brothels with (the person who told me said) trafficked women in them, in some gated apartment blocks around there – in the former Monto. Not nice at all, if true.

I’m pretty sure it IS true: Mr Andy works in an area where he has first-hand knowledge of such carry-on and the bits and bobs he divulges to me are shocking. There are a LOT of very dodgy criminals from other countries on the loose here.

All joking aside, people have a right to object to knocking shops opening in their area, if they don’t approve. Why not have them in Molesworth street and its environs – potentially a lot more trade.

Barclays is taking the new office block being built on molesworth st, so plenty of coked up thieving bankers will be knocking around the area..

Overheads, probably. There’s a lot of that kind of thing happening around the Grand Canal near Baggot street, though. Or there certainly used to be, it’s definitely not as blatant as it used to be.

Mespil Street/ Baggot Street there from the Flemings lane area one time
(it might be all filled in now with office blocks and coffee shops)

Wasn’t that B&B on Upper Stephen Street a knocking shop? Never saw anyone having breakfast in the dining room in all my years passing it.

I laughed at this comment, then notices the time it was posted.

        “hahaha………. oh”

In Hell’s Kitchen the locals came out every night snapping pictures of guys cruising in their cars, and chanting “Johns back to Jersey” ♫♪♫

It’s the dead-eyed sub-cockroaches that traffic and coerce/manipulate these, mostly, very unfortunate prostitutes are the problem..the pimps are the worst kind of person, dead inside, empty people.

Dublin is littered with Brothels ffs
not all of them are behind those gaudy massage and adult shop fronts

there’s plenty behind posh gates and elegant Georgian Front doors too,

at least the North Inner City residents aren’t afraid to take to the streets and try to have a say in what goes on in their streets

you won’t see the Upper Leeson street residents, or the Terenure/ Rathgar Neighborhood Watches doing it
    but púc
park outside one of their gaffs and you’ll know all about it

The should pop along to Lanigan’s on Eden Quay and have a look what goes on in the basement and the reason why a lot of lovvies have abandoned it as a watering hole.

If the customer is there and willing to pay for the wank or the bj then there will always whores willing to give it up.

    1. Nancy

Such a gentleman, Ales, have to pay for it often, do you? Probably can’t even get it up…

    2. Nancy

If the women are whores, what does that make you and the other clients? It’s people like you that make this world such an ugly place.
