Stocaí The Middle With you

RTÉ reports:

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar have reaffirmed their commitment to the trade agreement between the EU and Canada at their meeting in Farmleigh House.

Mr Varadkar said CETA – EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Economic – had more upsides than downsides and both Ireland and Canada were committed to free trade.

He said it will deliver stronger economic growth and create more well-paid jobs on both sides of the Atlantic and said Canada is looking forward to the agreement coming into force.

No. We will probably follow their lead when it comes to strip mining and environmental destruction.

No soccer jersey from Leo. No way. Rugby all the way for Fine Gael. A game played by a small minority of Irish compared to GAA and Soccer. Yet somehow it gets more coverage than it deserves.

    I wonder why that is.

You become Taoiseach and then you can decide which sport jersey to present to foreign leaders.

CETA , an agreement that includes the ISDS corporate court system, will have grave consequences to out economy, our society and our democracy for generations. It will effect our food standards, wages, and on and on

Irish Media – ” Leo, what socks are you wearing?”, “Trudeau received a Dublin Jersey and a Clare Bodhrán Drum.”
