Possibly if you look at sufficiently large number of people you can easily group them if your categories are broad enough:
– men in denim shirts and jeans
– men in red coats
– women with furry hoods
– topless men on skates
– women in ‘pink’ sleeve-less tops
– men with beards
– women in dresses
And if you ignore anyone wearing more unique clothes you can make sweeping statements.

This is the result of mass-production though, not unimaginative humans. Take a look at any shopping centre carpark for instance….we can only buy the cars we are sold.
