          Just for clarification.
          I’m 46.
Not a youngfella but not Victor Meldrew territory just yet.

I guessed we were of a similar vintage. I’m not 46.
            ’til June.
Though I keep forgetting how old I am these days. And what year it is.

I saw on Twitter last night that Tom Petty was only 37 when he was in the Traveling Wilburys.
Which made me feel impossibly old.

            “all right”

i hate having to correct you – especially with all these others watching

            Oh yeah! All right.
Chown away, my dear. I enjoy it.
Though I’ve looked up chown and the only definition which fits with how I use it is in the urban dictionary. I use it to rhyme with clown.
            I’m endlessly fascinating.

It was this day in 1999 when the whole Padraig Flynn and Bertie Ahern scandal hit the news. A “payday” neither of them will forget.
