A Limerick A Day

Cuba’s vice president Miguel Diaz-Canel is expected to be named as successor to Raul Castro

Will change come to Havana town
As the last of the Castros steps down?
Well his right hand man
Will continue the plan
So there’s no need for comrades to frown.

I think his point is that Squee will be delighted with the continuation of the workers paradise that is Cuba.

Yeah. Pretty much. The President has been full of praise for the country and its dictators in the past.

          As the Guardian article notes:
“There are no direct presidential elections in Cuba. When legislators for the National Assembly were elected this March, 605 candidates stood unopposed. Every one was elected.”

similar to how emperor michael d higgins expects things for the next presidential election here, he has studied the cuban system and thus wants to stand unopposed despite previously promising to be a one term tax leech

    Always admired Cuba
A country that booted out the mafia and defied American might
They have an incredible health service and are leaders in many medical treatments .
Maybe if the corruption was not as bad Castro would never came to power
Lets face it was it 50 attempts on his life
I always believe communism only exists because of the abuse of people
    China
    Russia
    Cuba
    Venezuela
4 examples of what happens when the people say no more
