Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2
Donal Moloney writes:
Took a stroll through St Stephens Green on Saturday afternoon and spotted a few nice scenes. There were some people doing the Tango at the bandstand that I found particularly beautiful….

Lovely.
Victorian time traveller looks lost
Steampunk.
double-goggle just in case.
Beautiful photos, those bandstands are amazing and seriously under utilized. I might give a public lecture there someday this summer.
I’LL SHOW THE LOT OF YOU!
I’M GOING TO BE A STAAAAAAARRR!!
Looks lovely.
Canon EOS 5DS R! Nice camera & great shots
really lovely
Makes me want to learn to Tango.
Lovely. I’d watch a movie about the story behind the last photo.
It does look like a movie still :)
I hope it’s not a sad film. But she’s smiling so it couldn’t be.
+1
It’s a gorgeous photo.
it’s available on pornhub
There’s always one eh? Bit of insecurity showing there Alan?
i laughed
Lovely shots, well done Donal. The last shot is brilliant, click on it, zoom in, center on couple. I don’t know if they are a couple or just friends but there is a magic there, the magic of love, or just the magic of life.
*Glad BS didn’t use the low res images that they become fond of here*
Agree. Brilliant picture
Fair dues. Well spotted, composed, and timed. I wish I could take images like that. Tricky with the old iPhone camera. Thanks for sharing, Donal. The first one is best IMO.
Yes the REAL camera/good eye combination is hard to beat.
Whenever I’m fed up listening to someone extoll the virtues of their smartphone’s camera I say;
So you’ll be using that for the daughter’s official wedding photos then?
None of that goings on in the Northside.
They’re too busy knackerdrinking instead.
Nonsense. There was a Wuthering Heights thing and the annual Rose Festival out in St. Anne’s Park at the weekend. Botanic Gardens also do nice events. In fact, plenty of neighborhoods on Dublin’s northside do summer festivals.
That last photo is gorgeous, great work Donal.
I love Steampunk Priest. Now there’s a sermon I could get behind.
Do you reckon he does weddings?
Beautiful pics in fairness.
Fair play, in fairness. Especially the last one.
Last photo is beautiful…. It’s nice to surprise yourself!
