Ok Ill elaborate , the main problem is the first sentence below ….
Overhead irrigation looses more water to evaporation and can encourage plant diseases. Hand watering can waste water if water is applied faster than the soil can absorb it. Instead of using a stream of water from the hose use a water breaker nozzle that breaks the water into raindrop size droplets. If water begins to run off the soil turn your irrigation off and wait 30 minutes before turning it back on.
