A Limerick A Day

A mosaic image of the region on Mars where the presumed water (in blue) is.

They’ve found water under the ice
On Mars, so will this entice
Us to launch a new race
And journey to space
And live in a red paradise?

That image does look like a sweet wrapper floating in a puddle – nice optical illusion.
The Mars One project – is that still happening? The plan to settle 100 or so humans there in 2025. Imagine only having six years left on Earth. Hope they keep in touch anyway.

will never understand the obsession with colonising Mars…there’s as good a chance of setting up Moonbase Alpha out of Space 1999

It’s slightly creepy to rhyme the word paradise with ice. Sounds a bit oleaginous parish priest-y.
No offence, obvs: lovin’ the work.
