The Mask Of Sorrow

at

Free tonight?

Get your Leo on at  6.30pm in the Summerhill Occupation at 35, Summerhill Parade, Dublin 1

Summerhill Occupation writes:

Come down and get involved in the ‘Leo’s Early Risers’

We will be giving out free Leo Varadkar masks…Don’t worry, there will be one for everyone in the audience.

We will stand together outside the Summerhill occupation as a collective visual protest; this is set to make for some good photos, so come along!

The demands from Summerhill have yet to receive response from our Government or Dublin City Council.

Today we extend our invitation to Varadkar himself, who is set to be the star of the show, to come and join us for a game of ‘Where’s Leo’ – let’s show our Lovely Leo that greatness can happen in the evenings.

FIGHT!

If LV doesn’t turn up is the next step is to unleash Hansard with his guitar?

in that case the government should not negotiate with terrorists

there is a rising undercurrent of racism and homophobia in these protests with these masks

In fairness, the Irish reserve a hatred for the Taoiseach that is unique to the role and has very little to do with race or religion or sexuality, and everything to do with simply being Taoiseach.

Yeah, I get that, but how does being against the bad policies of a government and mocking the leader racist and homophobic?

It isn’t. Jimmy is parodying an SJW snowflake OR parodying a right-wing troll parodying an SJW snowflake it’s mirrors all the way down at this stage.

Lads, my elderly neighbours have gone to Kerry for a week if you want to take over their house. As far as I know they’ve always voted FG and still go to mass so they should be fair game.

“we’ll be giving out free masks”
“this is set to make some good photos”

This whole skit absolutely bangs of protest-as-recreation.
