fupp it. who cares. dublin is just a tourist city now. theyre the only people in the place, and with all the hotels flying up it’ll be a novelty to be irish in dublin. so in losing its identity, may as well flog london stuff too. who cares. dublin is dying.
The commenter on here a few days ago saying we’re basically just Greater Manchester with a currency conversion issue to multinational retailers was right. The British DIY chains came in with UK plumbing, British phone sockets etc for years before copping on; Halfords, The Range etc still sell UK P plates or NI R plates but not our N plates. Argos keep a bag of British-International phone socket convertors under the counter to give with each phone.
Changing the product lineup for such a small region is seen as pointless.
I think the ‘small region’ you refer to is in fact a sovereign country
