Dedicated free hotel for shooting illegal substances?

Pathetic move by Merchants Quay, always facilitating the problem.

other law breakers might ask them to expand their erroneous plans to cater for their illegal and morally corrupt activities, next up motels for paedophiles…

No-deal Brexit will bring disease, pestilence and a plague of locusts writes the non-paper newspaper Independent.
Vegetables will lie rotting in the fields, planes will drop out of the skies like carrion and everyone who voted to leave will suffer a visitation from the three horsemen of the apocalypse.
    Rinse and repeat.

    1. Cian

Three horsemen? Have there been cutbacks? Or are the brits just 33% more efficient at Apocalypse?

Hang on,I’m now Culchie as well as Admin ?
By jove,I’ve had a busy morning already …

i stand to be corrected here, as maths is not my strong suit. but three out of four is 75%; which is a 25% saving.

          2. Brother Barnabas

doing with 3 what others are doing with 4 means you’re 33% more efficient

            reducing 4 to 3 is a 25% cut

          3. scottser

yeah, but there are four horsemen. they come in a pack of four. it’s not like there are three horsemen but sometimes they need an extra one to come in when the other lads are a bit stretched. in this case, one out of the four isn’t needed, hence a saving of 25%

          4. Cian

Yes there is a saving of 25%. But this saving is happening because the 3 people left are doing the work of 4.
So each one is doing 133.33% of the work (that they use to do).
So they are 33⅓% more efficient

The Four Horsemen of Brexit. Voting Law Irregularities. Tax Havens. The DUP.. And behold a pale arse: Boris. And No Deal folowed with him.

          1. ReproButina

Did you read that article before linking to it?

“In London priced [sic] fell by 0.7% year on year and were down 0.6% month on month to £476,752.

The data also shows that sales have fallen nationwide. Transactions fell by 19.3% in England, by 13.9% in Wales, by 13% in Northern Ireland and by 9.4% in Scotland.”

” On average, house prices in the UK have risen by 3% in the 12 months to June 2018 and by 0.4% month on month to £228,384, the latest official figures show. ”

What part of house prices in the UK have risen by 3 % in the 12 months since to June 29018 do you now understand ?

          3. ReproButina

No, that bit’s fine. I was just looking at the overall drop in sales and the drop in property prices in London.

          4. Ollie Cromwell

Well I only mentioned property prices because that’s what you did.
Transactions are down because people, naturally, are holding off on sales until there’s certainty about the Brexit outcome.
And a 0.7% fall is miniscule compared to the dramatic boost in London property prices over the past decade, thanks in part to large numbers of very rich French people moving there from Paris because of high taxation levels.
Panic selling over Brexit is clearly not happening although I know from what my chums tell me the market is stalling until the Brexit outcome is known – does that mean Brexit is a bad thing or people are just being prudent ?

          5. Brother Barnabas

“until there’s certainty about the Brexit outcome”?

fupp off with your project fear

blighty is booming and the brits are in ecstasy

          6. Ollie Cromwell

            Jeez,you’re snarky today.
It’s not my fault unemployment is at its lowest rate in 42 years, there’s record inward investment, the City of London retains its position as the pre-eminent financial centre of the world, record numbers of tourists are visiting the country and its still the Number 1 destination for illegal migrants because of the prospects it offers.
            Project Fear,eh ?

      1. ReproButina

I likely story. Conquest’s horse was stopped at the border due to the delay in vet certs.

No need to panic though. Farage said they’ll bring in a load of immigrant vets.

People going to see the Pope in Knock are expected to be in situ at 4am. Are they trying to cull the flock?

So hospitals can suddenly release patients where ‘medically appropriate’ when there’s a visit by the frocked one. But not able to do it up to now. It will be interesting where these patients go and the answers to questions why it hasn’t happened already.

    1. Ollie Cromwell

Presumably the 500 people sleeping on trolleys in hospital corridors every night will simply be wheeled out into the car park.
