Cardinal Donald Wuerl who will be a keynote speaker at the World Meeting of Families in Dublin later this month
I note the statement by Cardinal Donald Wuerl, following the revelation that hundreds of priests had sexually abused thousands of children in Pennsylvania, that he had “acted with diligence, with concern for the victims and to prevent future acts of abuse”.
With all his years of training, education and life experience, could the cardinal not figure out that the best way to stop a paedophile re-offending was to lock him up?

They include a minor who was impregnated by a priest who paid for her to have an abortion, as well as a priest who confessed to the rape of at least 15 boys. In one instance, a priest abused five sisters in one family, including an 18-month-old girl.
The probe concluded that bishops “followed a playbook for concealing the truth” and while “priests were raping little boys and girls, [bishops] hid it all. For decades”
Funny how abortion is such a mortaller, unless it’s a priest paying for one for the girl he raped.
This is what the WMOF, the 500k who go to the Phoenix Park and the 45k in Knock will be celebrating. A rancid, festering, power and money grabbing organisation riddled with crime and abuse.
