Can anyone enter to swim this or do you have to be a member of some club or have to qualify in some way?
You would need all your vaccinations anyway.
Quick, pump me full of antibiotics. There is no way I’d swim in that disgusting river. I saw some aerial views of it on TV during the papal visit and it looked manky.
Was down there at Heuston station recently and it was absolutely disgusting
I could see poo
and even they didn’t stop David Walliams being attached to the jacks for months afterwards
Yuck. I think I’d have preferred to run 50 marathons in 50 days or whatever Eddie Izzard did.
You would have to complete six sea races to qualify for the major races which include the Liffey Swim
