Time to end public relations and media manipulation BS. Taoiseach talked yesterday of the need to embed in our health service a culture of open disclosure. He should explain why when Min for Health he reneged on gov cmtmnt to enact a mandatory open disclosure law of medical error

In fairness.

Dr Leo Varadkar was an abysmal minister of health.
…nearly as bad as Shatter was Min Justice & Defence…
he was actually one of the best legislators we’ve had, dislikeable lad though
Yes he was very good to the wimmin
i don’t think he’s any more dislikeable than anyone else in FG – all equally repulsive. more competent than the rest of them, at least.
Writes a good Laura though.
read the whole thing or just skip to the sexy bits?
people are repulsive in general, look around you, all filth
you don’t mean me, do you, Harry?
look in the mirror you dirt
I did a public reading of it following the re-release of the book. I used to work in a bookshop and decided that this was something the public simply NEEDED to hear.
(the dirty bits were my fave though)
Good man Hapathy. You’re a real hardliner aren’t ya.
What legislation did Shatter bring in for the benefit of the Irish people?
Great to see Blueshirt HQ begin to implode though.
if you’re talking to me, there’s a summary here : http://www.thejournal.ie/alan-shatter-achievements-failures-office-1452896-May2014/?amp=1
He was very focused of civil rights legislation, even though his bills were often blocked by the Oireachtas as you can see (unless the article is made of lies)
He set just FLAC too, do you think that benefits the common person?
JK’s gone quiet now….
don’t get me wrong, he was a bit of a bpo boo but it’s worthwhile noting the good with the bad!
He did not set up FLAC. From FLAC.ie:
‘It was started by a group of law students to use their legal knowledge and provide advice to those who could not afford the fees. David Byrne, Denis McCullough, Vivian Lavan and Ian Candy set up the organisation in April 1969 after attending a conference on legal aid in TCD.’
thats a very good question
I think Alan might need to get his eye seen to.
please forgive me for initially thinking you were making an ‘eye of the jew’ barb
I don’t know what that is, and my name isn’t Barb.
in the world I’ve created, it is
I appreciate a good Beerfest reference!
Hell hath no fury like a politician scorned….
