Sharon Courtney, Sara Rowe, Sinead Goldrick and I can’t remember the name of the Tipperary player. Aisling something I think.

I couldn’t name that men’s so can’t help here. Fairplay to them though. Sport is given way too much air time and gets shoved in your face 24/7…at the expense of the arts.

Refreshing to see women get the limelight for the work they put in and their talent.

Advertising masquerading as art, they think by calling it art that it doesn’t need planning. A bunch of sneaks.

Allowing artists to make use of shared public spaces is one thing, allowing these people to privatize public spaces for unplanned advertising is something else.

Subset know damn well it will take weeks before they’re forced to take down anything and they’ll use any complaints as an excuse to squeeze more publicity out of it. They deserved a hard slap, preferably in the form of financial penalties.

Credit to LIDL for the GAA sponsorship but they shouldn’t be working with marketing companies like Subset unless proper planning permission was obtained.

+1 Ever walked past Subset in action? Ozone layer death zone. Who cares about the environment as long as it looks cool. Like aerosol cans are cool…

Silence from the Una Mullally/Mannix Flynn channels…

Was that comment about Twitter? Where are you going with this? While I’m on here if you watched yourself back and think you did nothing wrong then there’s not a person in this world that can help you.

    1. Blo Jo Brexit

Maybe Ollie Trimble and Co can culturebomb it with artwork for Tesco’s Jack’s…. would be cool actually.

Are Subset responsible for that stuff off Camden Street for Freddie Mercury movie etc too? HAsn’t the George Bernard Shaw pub in Portobello been at this street ad mullarkey for years?

It’s more of that Kreuzberg/San Francisco gentrification by proxy that’s wrecking Dublin

      1. shortforBob

Yes the Freddie advertising is them too. They shamelessly tweet it all.

Unless they have changed their ways and are getting planning permission this needs to stop.

      2. Cú Chulainn

It’s brilliant.. and I don’t think you need planning in certain cases.. it’s not intended to be there forever.. just a moment in time. More of it please..
