Depends really. They need to do a bit of analysis first to know what level of beating to give these peaceful protesters.

Irrespective of their findings, we can be sure they will be failing as they do everyday of the week – and before some halfwit asks me who I call if I get attacked in the street, the answer is nobody. I was attacked in the street at 11.30PM one Friday a few years ago and was basically accused of being ”in the wrong place at the wrong time”. Problem is I live on that street. Also asked was I drunk, I wasn’t, I was walking the dog and 3 youths attacked me from behind and left me with a small but still noticable scar behind my ear. I actually identified one of them and nothing was done.

So no, I would only call the police if I needed an insurance report, there is literally no other reason outside of passport affairs and the like for me to call them, they do not serve me, they serve the establishment and I am not a member.

They can’t be disturbed by the rabble, must have peace and quiet for their discounted pints in the Dail bar before vying for the political points of the day.

I have never seen the rental market as bad as it is currently. Airbnb is the worst thing to ever happen to rents.

Actavo delivering the invoice for the hire of their barricades by hand, no doubt, when [REDACTED] has lunch with Leo, Paschal and his other underlings.

Those barriers are put up for every protest to Leinster house at the end of the days crowds have to be managed.

Some crowds are managed, some are attacked. By the ‘guardians of the peace’, a great contradiction in terms, like The Peoples Republic of China or the Joy Division in the SS (and no, I am not comparing An Garda Siochana to the SS, they have nowhere near the discipline and training.)

At the end of the day, the Blueshirts and their FF twins, make sure protests occur, and then hide like cowards behind the bully boys in the Garda Siochana.

And the Independent and The Journal and Irish Times all spin it to ensure continued government propaganda is maintained.

Actually, no. There were no barriers in the last year or so, for instance during the meetings outside the Dail by Repeal The 8th.

The barriers go up when people are asking for a change that the nicely dressed boys and nicely paid in the Dail don’t actually want, don’t you know.
