    Marvellous weather.
I have my East European gardener giving the lawns one last cut as we speak.
Definitely a day for an early tincture this afternoon – Hendricks, cucumber and a Fever-tree or three methinks.

Sorry, can’t get my head around CDG.It’s got quite an oily taste which I find jarring on my sophisticated palate.
I’m usually a Gordons’ man but I’ve fallen for Hendricks’ come-hither charms of late.

All that Bulmers has scorched your palette Ollie

CDG is a proper traditional gin
Old Fashioned maybe with just a slice of lemon and none of your summer veg, or glasses like goblets

I think I might start referring to it as the Missionary Position of gins

Ollie, if I could be so bold as to recommend the Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin. It’s a fine tipple.

Nice to see that a general air of gin harmony has broken out across Broadsheet !
Better than the serious slagging that occurs, most other times..
