This morning’s Irish Times/MRBI poll ranking the major parties’ approval ratings
A new poll has come out which said
The blueshirts are eight points ahead
So will they persevere
On into next year
Or go to the people instead?

So within the margin of error balancing
It’s possible to say that
FF and SF are level
And if Liadh has a good run
Which I suspect she will
They’ll be no error about it at all the next time polls are run
I don’t see who Fianna Fail appeal to anymore. Fianna Gael seem to have the right of centre sewn up. I can see Fianna Fail becoming an insignificant party, with each passing away of their voters.
What % of first preference is a good run for Liadh Ni Riada ?
Martin got 13 maybe 14% of the FPs last time
(for measure, Gallagher got around 28 and Michael D around 38%)
I expect her to attract more First Preferences that Martin did
But if I’m wrong
well I won’t run away and hide from ye
“And if Liadh has a good run
Which I suspect she will”
She is currently polling 5% – within ‘margin of error balancing’ of serial RTA novelty candidate Gavin Duffy.
She will surprise
I’m sure of that
Liadh will the runner up to the incumbent
And maybe followed by Joan
I can’t see any of the dragacts outpolling them tbh
But if I’m wrong
I’m sure I won’t hear the end of it
Liadh only has room for improvement…
