It seems that The Beatles managed to fit in a trip to Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher as well.

My ma was at that gig in the adelphi. She claims she touched Paul’s foot.
paul tells that story a bit differently
Everyone’s Ma of that generation was at that gig…
I really expected a deluge of ma jokes. Disapointed :/
I actually thought you were conceived in a test tube and reared as the bastard son of victor meldrew and mary harney.. :)
I had an uncle who went to see them (can’t remember if it was this gig or one in England). He said he couldn’t hear any of the music over the screaming so it was pointless being there.
Why does the plaque look like it’s been there for two hundred years?
I passed it yesterday and didn’t realise it was new. They must have veiled it then unveiled it.
Yeah, I was thinking the same, could they not have a got a piece of stone to match the facade?
Is “an t-aon dá” the way to say “the only two”? Sounds weird to me.
I so wish I’d been around for that.
Who was the presenter who introduced The Beatles for their first TV performance?

Gay Byrne
No joke.
Yes, he worked for the Beeb for a wee bit.
Fair dues like.
