They’re not called the gutter press for nothing. They’ll have tits on page 3, but get all prurient and fnaar their way through the article when a woman stands up to make a point.
“Where politics mix with bingo and tits
In a strictly money and numbers game
Where they offer you a feature
On stockings and suspenders
Next to a call for stiffer penalties for sex offenders…”
It Says Here – Billy Bragg
Awful ‘newspaper’.
A cheap publicity stunt, standing on the backs of victims of rape to get some press, hat’s all. We all know what a thong looks like.
Well apparently if the thong is sexy your allowed take that as them being “up” for it. So stunt or not at least people will know the scummy tactics used in rape cases.
But the Irish Daily Star are not really in the learning academy are they. Why look at it, or any trashy tabloid, for any moral standing? Ignore it.
I’m just disappointed that nobody went with the “coppinger gets her knickers in a knot”
Coppinger would do anything to get in the paper. Horrible way to debate a serious issue.
What’s horrible about displaying a bit of clothing? Does seeing a piece of women’s underwear give you uncontrollable urges?
