News just in – the FAI has said it will leave its headquarters at the National Sports Campus in Abbotstown for a new purpose-built facility in the country.
Announcing the move after Ireland’s disappointing scoreless draw against Denmark FAI boss John Delaney said “ this will be great news for the boys in green. “
“ The new high performance centre has acres of empty fields and will be perfect for the team to practice their pointless hoofing of the ball upfield for no-one in particular to chase.
“ As an added bonus there are no practice goals as it’s so long since we’ve bothered an opposition goalkeeper they aren’t necessary. “
Delaney points to last night’s match as evidence where the team didn’t register as single attempt on target at the Denmark goal.
“ The lads were in such generous spirits that the Denmark goalie was able to spend the match filling in his latest tax return, finishing off his PhD thesis on ‘ Danish bacon – fried of grilled ?’ and letting the backroom staff know a post-match shower wouldn’t be necessary. “
The move is thought to have gone down well with the players.
Irish teenage sensation Michael Oluwadurotimi Obafemi – no relation to the well-known Kerry sporting family the O’Bafemis – who made his debut last night said “ the gaffer done great with this move. There’s a grand boozer just down the road so we can have a bit of a kickabout while the boss and Keano count their salaries and then head off for a few aul’ scoops to be sure to be sure “
Meanwhile,Irish fans – officially known as “ the greatest fans in the world who never get to see much of it “ – keen to check out the new facility can find directions by visiting its website.

Old horse, this kick ball thing really gets your gander up. Still, if it gets the pulse racing for you, then who’s to judge..

Why would any team park the bus in a dead-rubber match and not have a single attempt on goal ?
Surely that’s exactly the sort of match to go for it and try to restore some pride even as they get relegated.
Between them Mr Magoo and Saddam Hussein have destroyed the Irish spirit that got them results even with players of limited ability.

it’s funny how lots have people have a problem that we pay MDH €250K. Nobody seems to mind that we pay John Delaney €360K. Bonkers

Fair enough it’s not the taxpayer.

But the fans pay it – through inflated ticket prices, or buying replica gear, or tv rights.
          It’s a sham.

Actually it’s being pretty widely reported by outlets like Sky news, CNN, The Telegraph, BBC and our own Irish Times, aside from the French media, which are all reporting on it.

Dan Boyle lies about man-made climate change all the time. So do you.

If you and Dan are now claiming that this unproven man-made climate change now makes species go extinct them it’s up top you and Dan to prove that claim.

That’s how science works; You must prove your hypothesis with evidence. Otherwise: You’re lying. Again.

And with the history of Moon-bat Greenies lying for money you’re going to have to first prove you’re not lying before I can take you seriously.

          2. ReproBertie

In the piece where you said Dan was lying he didn’t blame man made climate change for species going extinct. So was he lying about species going extinct?

          3. CO2 Rocks

So if Dan isn’t blaming man-make Climate Change for species going extinct then what did I claim he was lying about?

Or is this just another made-up drama you’ve invented inside your own head?

          4. ReproBertie

Under Dan’s article about species going extinct you said that he was lying. If he was lying that must mean species aren’t going extinct. Are species not going extinct?

CO2 is the catalyst for life on planet earth.

Claiming human produced CO2 causes climate change is a lie. It’s bad science supporting regressive Carbon Taxation. It’s bad science for money. It’s a scam.

That’s why Dan lies. That’s why the moonbats on here defend him at even turn. Even when he’s lying.

I think you’ll find it’s a fine balance, a little like in our guts, when one element takes over for example clostridium difficile you sniff it eventually as the balance tips further out of control, see your gut as a microcosm for the greater macrocosm, living earth, or in this case sick earth.

Water is the catalyst for life on planet earth.
The more water there is the more life thrives. More water is good.

Ah. Hear that folks? We’re all Moonbats. That explains everything.

Time to pack up the resistance and go home.

Have the Brexiteers ran out of steam?

The CBI are backing May but they would prefer to Remain in the first place. Every single day, 1100 trucks of car parts alone come through the channel tunnel into Britain and free movement has provided a lot of cheap labour. With east Europeans already leaving, they are bound to be feeling the pinch, especially in the agri industries.

John Hume once say ‘you can’t eat a flag’. Little did he know that would become the slogan of half of those he was diagonally opposed to. Funny how things turn out sometimes.

FG Faithful, and Facebook mentioned in the one sentence. The ‘faithful’ has a big problem – their Nokia 5110 can’t connect to facebook, and even if they could, all they have is 2G in their Massey’s. So the faithful wouldn’t have too much of an idea what facebook is.

Charlie Weston highlighting very important tax sleight of hand (in the Indo). The sudden deletion of the flat-rate expenses allowance will totally cancel out any paltry gain I make in the new year from the Budget. And it will affect others worse. It also follows the widespread under-reporting of the rent tax credit for tenants being abolished at the end of last year. The Government, many of them landlords, obviously saw how high rents were going and decided, ‘oh, now that could cause a wee bit of a problem in how much we actually give those toiling tenants who get up early’. It is an utter disgrace that the smallest of rent reliefs, the only one that existed for working tenants, was so cruelly scrapped without any warning at a time when rents are at their highest. It is also a disgrace that it wasn’t reported on properly. And now workers are being punished again by sleight of hand with the latest sneaky swoop. At least this brazen theft is being reported by a major news outlet with the prominence that it deserves.

    Well,this is interesting Brexit news.
It appears MaxFac is back on the table as No 10 says the Cabinet today discussed the ” alternative arrangements ” option to avoid the irish border backstop with fresh work being done on ” technical solutions .”
I’ve been saying for as long as I’ve been posting on this forum that there are technical solutions in place to solve this issue with both Revenue and UK tax chiefs saying it is entirely feasible.
Varadkar,of course, deliberately sabotaged this after the referendum for grandstanding political reasons by banning Irish civil servants from even discussing the issue with their Northern counterparts.
    Fasten your seatbelts.

Moonbats under siege all across Europe.

First the UK people told the EU 2 FO.

Then the Italian people failed to do their masters’ bidding and elected a government hostile to the EU migration agenda. Then Hungary and Poland refused to surrender their integrity, their borders or their culture.

Now the Orwellian midget in France is facing the wrath of his own people because muh carbon tax.

You want to know if species are going extinct? Yes: Thankfully Moonbats are on the way out.

Soon their only safe space will be on the pages of the Irish Times and in the masonic lodge known as Leinster House (Kilwinning Lodge No. 75).

Man-made climate change (it’s a scam). He does it for (carbon tax) and the virtue signalling (useless renewables show he “cares”).

He never provides evidence for any claims he makes.

            Neither do you.

Tell us: what species are going extinct because of the alleged man-made climate change?

You must know: you keep banging on about it like it’s true.
