I thought I had seen everything. This selfish motorist decides to drive on the footway in order to avoid the traffic queue. Unbelievable!

Could not manage to get the reg, otherwise this would have gone straight to the gardaí.

Anyone?

Unless it was a one way system or strictly reserve for local access he is perfectly entitled to drive there?

            Most likely a resident there.
That spot of Griffith ave is an odd layout.
Most car owners wouldn’t drive far on the path so long as they can exit onto the main road, but it’s heavily tree lined so they may have to drive a small bit on.

This guy / gal is clearly taking the piss however.

I thought the same at first but watched the video and at least part of that was clearly footpath.

This driver was awful but we’re way overdue getting more bollards and quietways, turning residential areas back into residential areas instead of rat runs for impatient drivers.

You’re so right-on, I can’t actually tell when you are taking the mick, and when you are being (painfully) earnest.

What’s with cyclist using €2 AliExpress 1,000,000 Lumen bike lights? They cut the eyes out of other road users and pedestrians. If you are going to use them, point them down to the bloody road.

Couldn’t agree more – they are an awful hazard for other cyclists, pedestrians and motor vehicle drivers.

Those strobe lights are a menace, I’ve shouted at many cyclists while on foot. No way they should be legal.

    That’s a Black Ford S Max.
I know that part of Griffith Avenue well – busy primary schools on the opposite side, so footpath usually packed with kids during certain hours.
I really hope they genuinely thought it was all a local access road and didn’t do that out of cheek and ultimately sheer stupidity.
At the very end it appears to take a right turn? That’s a housing estate up there so perhaps they are local?

They were probably in a hurry, does he not know this means the driver can do as they please also just an FYI the rules of road also don’t apply if you have made a mistake in the lane you are in because you were too busy to pay attention to the signs and road markings, you are allowed to cross 3/4 lanes of traffic maybe hold up one or two because turning around at a safe place is only for fools, once their indicator is on it’s fine

He was a self righteous cyclist, she was a single mom with an urgent bowel movement.
When they met it was friday morning ennuii.. i

Was it cut or something, as I got no single mum in sharp need for the toilet.

Josè, would you ever go and poop. To Copenhagen ideally. This is nothing. I traverse 12 roads a day on foot and I’m clipped a couple of times a week by a cyclist breaking the lights. They don’t share their footage then. This city is doing its best to cater for a buses, cars, trams, cyclists and pedestrians. – it’s not perfect, and some of the road-users have learned the rules while others haven’t. I’m crossing those streets every day and I see two road users constantly breaking either the amber at speed or the red at any speed; cyclists and taxis.

cyclists don’t think the rules of the road apply to them but heaven forbid anyone criticize them. See them breaking red lights on a daily basis.
