€1,900 For A Studio

at

Dublin Rental Investigator tweetz:

Shook! €1,900pm for a ‘studio’ in East Wall. The photos contradict the bed arrangements. Potential breaches in A.7. Housing Regs. Is there planning permission? There’s actual houses for this price in the D3 area.

Ok; finger in one ear, eyes closed, and let rip:

At Boolavogue as the rent was rising
Ore East Wall Road on the auld Northside.
I spied a gaff which left we wondering
Would me and herself both fit inside.

I am a rude ignorant bully. I have been asked by the owners of this site to stop commenting but I won’t.

the common denominator on a lot of the ones that gets posted here .. is theyre always in absolute dirt parts of town. They’ve long being labelling places ‘studio’ which seems to mean the toilet is beside the bed and the cooker is at the end of it.

Every photo says ” Rental Property 8″. Does this mean that the same landlord has at least another 7 equally exploitative properties?

Small double room is moot point. If its a small room, its a small room. A double room, is a big room, with a double bed and extra walking and storage space.

The fact that they tax breaks to landlords but not tenants in the last budget should tell you all you need to know Janet.
